Welcome
Felicity Capper has for some years lived in her former Farmhouse on the north eastern slopes of Dartmoor, Devon and has continued to paint with water colours from her converted Barn Studio successfully selling through various Exhibitions throughout the south of England.
About
Felicity studied drawing, sculpture and pottery at Kingston Art College, as well as studying sculpture with John Oakman, and has continued to draw children and animals for commissions as well as working in other fields including interior decorating and design.
Following a weekend watercolour course with Ron Ranson, she held her first watercolour exhibition in Chagford, Devon in 1996 since when she has sold her works in several West Country galleries including Bath, Plymouth and Tetbury.
Felicity paints in pure watercolour from a limited palette and always carries a sketchbook with her. She enjoys creating her paintings from these sketches, recalling memories of mood and light. In addition her drawings can also be found illustrating two recently produced local books and her tapestry designs have been used to feature on Millenium Pew Seats for Drewsteignton's Parish Church.
